“Look at the UFC…they’re struggling…they’ve got Conor McGregor, who’s got their balls in a safe right now…tell me the stars in UFC…it’s a really interesting dynamic…it doesn’t have the pull with the broadcasters…they’re playing catch-up,”

The final in the UFC 219 training camp of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Before he takes on Edson Barboza in a number one title eliminator. In this episode, we get to see behind the scenes at weigh-ins and fight day.

we get to see Khabib behind the scenes going through the weight cutting process. He take some time out to walk around Las Vegas and take in the sights. Before it’s back to the hotel and continuing the weight cut.  It’s obvious he is a big 155lb fighter and has alot of weight to cut, even this close to the fight.

Once the weigh-in is done and dusted. AKA team captain Daniel Cormier makes an impromptu appearance. And gives his thought on the weight cut and the fight.

Time for some chow with Team Khabib after all the work is done. All that is left now is the fight itself. Javier Mendez gives his thoughts on Khabib and his current condition. As well as a prediction for the fight.

Then it’s fight time and Khabib is ready to shine. He shadow boxes backstage as his coach Javier looks on.

Post-fight and Khabib emerges the victor. He jokes with his team about talking to Dana during the fight. As he already plans the next stage of his fight career.

Urijah Faber gives his thoughts and talks about showing his whole team the fight. Saying that Khabib puts the pressure on his opponents. Daniel Cormier and Khabib have a facetime chat and discuss him getting the fight bonus.

FIRAS ZAHABI SAYS RORY MACDONALD WOULD KO FEDOR “NOW'S THE TIME TO TAKE THOSE CHANCES!”

RORY MACDONALD WOULD KO FEDOR “NOW’S THE TIME TO TAKE THOSE CHANCES!”

TRISTAR HEAD COACH FIRAS ZAHABI SAYS RORY MACDONALD WOULD KO FEDOR “NOW THE TIME TO TAKE THOSE CHANCES!”

Fighthub speaks to Firas Zahabi about Rory Macdonald going up to heavyweight. Should the opportunity arise and someone was to drop out of the Bellator Grand Prix. Zahabi believes that his protege Rory would be able, not only to step in and fill the slot. But to take on and beat someone like Fedor Emelianenko and knock him out.

Firas added that Rory is now in his prime. While the great Fedor is now in the twilight of his career. Now is the time to take chances and it would be a great feather in his cap.

So what are the chances of a MacDonald ending up in the Grand Prix? With the competition taking place over an entire year, who knows! More curious to find out what a heavyweight Rory would look like? He is a tall welterweight. But, jumping up a further three weight divisions? It really would be a sight to behold.
