Based out of the Netherlands, UFC middleweight fighter Gegard Mousasi has sat in and around the top of the sport for many years. Once ranked number 3 in the world by Sherdog.com. The Iranian-born Armenian has quite a life story. Fleeing the Iran – Iraq war, his family settled in Leiden Netherlands where Gegard love for mixed martial arts began. With one of the most extensive careers in the sport, having competed in most of the major promotions including k1 Dynamite, Cage Warriors, M1-Global, Affliction, Pride Fighting Championships. Dream where he won the middleweight title and Strikeforce, where he became the light heavyweight champion.
