Rico Verhoeven vs. Badr Hari – Preview / Breakdown / Skill Study – Glory “Collision

After all the call-outs, and anticipation, “it’s on”. This fight, under the Glory banner, is the most anticipated HW Kickboxing match in years, and has intrigue based on the popularity of both pugilists,and largely on “where are they now?”, not only because of the inactivity of Badr, but the seemingly ever-improving ability and technique of Rico. The fight will be a three-round contest, December 2016, and will take place in Oberhausen, Germany, at the König Pilsener Arena. Verhoeven vs. Hari will be entitled “Collision”.

While I will try to avoid too much speculation, I do want to give some insight into what to potentially expect from both fighters, and cover technique, mental, and “x-factor” like strengths of each. Whether it’s Badr’s potential power advantage, or Rico’s cardio edge, we’ll look at technical efficacy and instinctual tendencies. Without further ado…
