In this interview-heavy episode, three guests joined the show including a UFC heavyweight competing at UFC 216. Mark ‘Hand Of’ Godbeer joined us for an interview ahead of his UFC 216 showdown with Walt Harris. Godbeer, a native of Somerset, England, talks about the fight itself, his previous performances in the UFC, learning to enjoy the fighting process, UFC ‘jitters’, the UFC’s heavyweight division, wanting a fight with Todd Duffee, and more.

The Black Mamba

‘The Black Mamba’ Frans Mlambo also joined the show. Frans, who fights out of SBG Ireland, is one of the brightest young stars in Ireland and was seen as, arguably, the best prospect the country had to offer when making his pro-debut. Currently fighting for BRAVE FC, Frans talks about making mistakes early in his pro career, wanting to stay relevant, the impact of social media and self-promotion on a fighter’s career, the UFC, the pros and cons of taking part in Conor McGregor’s training camps, and more.

KO! Media’s founder and professional combat sports photographer also joined the show to talk about transitioning from fashion photography to combat sports. He also speaks about not understanding the sport initially, even thinking it was too vicious, but finding himself loving it after learning about the techniques and athletes.
